Football camps are sure to deliver classic gridiron action! Football camps are presented in fun and invigorating training environments. These camps offer the core skills of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning. Our objective is to prepare our campers to be true champions on and off the gridiron. All camps conclude with the Skyhawks Bowl.

Description:
Skyhawks flag football is the perfect program for your young athletes who want a complete introduction to America's Game or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play. Through our 'skill of the day' campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all presented in a fun & positive environment. Recommended for beginner to intermediate athletes ages 6-8. The week ends with the Skyhawks Sports Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the girdiron!



Ability:

At the beginner ability level, kids learn fundamentals and more about sports. Emphasis is placed on understanding the rules and etiquette of the game through creative and constant participation. Skill development is taught through an introduction of drills, skill-building exercises, and scrimmages. Limited prior experience is helpful. A desire to build a sport foundation is a plus.
